A chorous of barks and howls filled the air as Kestrel and Hawk entered their new terra. Lupercus and Aart lagged at the back, ''We'll clean your wounds and you can have a big meal and a nights sleep.'' Lupercus smiled.
Aart didn't reply he was deeply troubled. He remembered the love he saw in Namenia's eyes as she watched Dakota. He wondered if he would ever have anyone to love him like that. He sighed and kept on walking.
Lupercus knew what he was thinking about. ''Son. Sometimes in life we must sacrafice something for others. I sacraficed my life to sire you.'' he soothed.
Aart's head snapped around, ''Sometimes in life we must sacrafice something for others.'' he quoted. ''-Your self don't you mean. You can't tell me you're doing this to help other wolves or save their lives. We've just had a war and killed countless people.'' he barked angrily.
Lupercus shook his head sadly. ''No, that was a war for Hawk and Kestrel. They now have a home.'' he smiled. He was old now and if his son tried to fight him he would be made to surrender.
''So why did I have to get involved then? Huh?'' he growled. ''I didn't. That's because that war wasn't about lands of terras, it was about you... me... the bea...'' he realised what this was about.
''I have told you you are special. Just how special I don't know. No one knows. Except the beast a suppose...'' he sighed.
''I know. But I just want to be normal. Whilst all the other males of my age are playing, finding mates and hunting, I have to learn to fight.'' he groaned.
''Like I said 'sacrafice'. All will be clear soon.'' he stated. Everyone came to a sudden halt as Kestrel perched and began to congratulate everyone.
